the light... so bright"

the original story of the little mermaid, by Hans Christian Andersen has a sad ending, where the prince, the man the little mermaid falls in love with, decides to marry another woman. Sad and full of despair, the little mermaid is given a dagger and if she kills the prince she can become a mermaid again.

Unable to slay the one she loves she jumps into the sea, and she begins to dissolve into foam, then she feels the warmth of the sun and turns into a spirit, the daughter of the air... the original ending though she simply dissolved and hence ceased to exist.... XD...

theres alot more to the story but... im too lazy to type it xD... just Wikipedia it if your interested!
